Venezuelan Foreign Minister Delcy Rodriguez thanked the political and social movements of the world for showing solidarity with the Venezuelan government facing meddling by the Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS), Luis Almagro, who is promoting a foreign intervention against the country.
"Thanks to all those who raise their voices around the world to support Venezuela before the attacks of the empire. They (imperialists) will not beat the homeland of Bolivar and Chavez," Rodriguez posted on her Twitter account.
In another message, she said the Venezuelan people will continue to progress on the path of revolution to defend their social rights, which are the legacy of eternal commander Hugo Chavez.
"We follow the path of (Hugo) Chavez led by President Nicolas Maduro. Venezuela is respected!" She said.
On Wednesday, the Venezuelan Chancellery posted to its Twitter account, videos and images of social organizations from Sweden, France, China, Italy, India, Norway, Brazil, Serbia, Dominican Republic, Bolivia, Spain, Finland, Belgium, Mali, among others, expressing their solidarity and support to the oil country and rejection of this new attack.
